Normal skin Ph is slightly acidic at 4.5 – 5.5, all of our products are formulated to keep the skin w/in that normal range.
When do the products expire?
There is a date stamped on the bottom of all bottles, generally good for 18 months from date of purchase.

What is Glycation?
There are entire books written on this subject, the short scientific answer is: “It is the non-enzymatic joining of a sugar compound with a protein, lipid or amino acid, impairing their function or making them non functional. Everything we eat has a certain amount of advance glycation end units (AGE’s). The signs of Glycation are similar to the signs of aging, with particularly noticable: Dull, lifesless skin, loss of elasticity, deep lines/wrinkles.
When do I prescribe anti-Glycation products?
Lifestyle is the best measure. Glycation is caused by cooking food at high temperature – roasting, frying, etc. A glass of milk has 500 AGE’s, when you heat that milk up, it shoots to 1 million AGE’s.

My pump is not working
There will occasionally be a problem with initially “charging” the pump after it has been shipped. Usually a firm tap on the table or with your hand on bottom will fix it. There is a small hole on the bottom, you can unbend a paperclip and manually push up to get it started.
Which peels do you need to neutralize?
Only the ones in a PEG (poly ethelene glycol) base – Lactic & Alpha Beta
Can I use the Vitamin A accelerator w/ other peels?
The official answer is no, BUT, we have had people use it with the Jessner, you just need to be careful.
How many treatments do I get out of 1 bottle of the peels?
Should be about 30, depending on how much is used. Less with the PEG bases (Lactic & Alpha Beta b/c you do multiple passes).
What do I charge for a peel treatment?

Did you remove the Epiprep completely? Did you use cold or warm water to remove the Fraction V? Does the client have a soy allergy? Could be the Fraction V

Initally 10, but as you get more comfortable w/ the treatments, more like 12-15.
What is the difference b/w the vitamin A we use and others out there?
We use an ester form, Retinyl acetate, which is 89% retinol, 11% acetic acid. This enables us to use higher percentages and be less irritating than pure retinol. There are other ester forms out there, such as retinol palmitate, which is only 48% retinol and 52% palmetic acid. Retinaldehyde is another form you will see in cosmetic formulations, it can be unstable and has limited availability.
Can I use Vitamin A products during pregnancy?
No. There were studies done when Dr. Fulton and Dr. Klingman first researched vitamin A that showed in can cause Tetrogenesis, which are basically random growths on a fetus.
What % of Vitamin C do you use?
We use 8% Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP), which has the same bio-availability as 20% Ascorbic Acid.
If I’m using other products such as nighttime Repair, which contain vitamin C, do I need to use vitamin C serum at night?
No. You can but you don’t have to.
